Port Forwarding Help

Post by maineultraclassic »

I had to replace my aging Netgear router due to it cutting out frequently.
I went with a ASUS RT-AC68P for my new one, but now I can't access the Reef Angel externally.

I went into the router setup and turned on port forwarding, I assigned the port to the reef angel IP address...........followed 2-3 tutorials online............and still can't get it to work.

Anyone have any ideas or experience with this router?

Thanks,

Steve

have you verified that the port is actually open on your router?
I do not have that specific router, I have the previous one (rt-66 something).

Figured it out..............never changed my networks ip address. The new router had a new ip address, so I need to update that and everything is working perfect.
