I am trying to find a solenoid valve that I can use with my RA. I have an AWC system that pumps water from the sump out of the house through airline tubing. I am planning on putting a calcium reactor and want to use the same line out to feed the reactor (since I only have 4 airlines going through the wall and am using one for ATO, one for water out, one for water in, and the last would be return from the CaRX). I thought I could use a 3 way solenoid valve I could control with the RA (have an expansion box outside already). That way the pump could be feeding the CaRX most of the time, and 5 min a day I could divert that to a sink to do the water change.
Has anybody used solenoid valves with the RA. Any recommendations?
Thanks a lot, Lucho

3 way solenoid valve for RA?
Re: 3 way solenoid valve for RA?
They are very expensive easier to use a pair of solenoid valves, one normally open and one normally closed on the same relay. When you turn on it will switch both.
Re: 3 way solenoid valve for RA?
Thanks Lee. I was thinking the same thing. Have you found a reliable solenoid you would recommend?
