I have an idea for a future version of the relay box. Add an ammeter chip to each outlet.
Obviously not an extraordinarily high priority item - I can not think of too many ways to use this info to automate anything. The only example I can think of is safely shutting off the outlet before it draws too much electricity and overloads the relay.
But it would be really interesting to be able to at-a-glance see how much electricity each component is using.
It could also be useful in catching/troubleshooting equipment failures. If an outlet is is using more/less electricity than normal, something plugged into that outlet is most likely not working right.

I love this idea...and would be willing to pay more(than stardard relay) for an option such as this.
