Bad allergies in my case,,, Chicago , 400 gallons of saltwater and 900 square foot cement loft are the main factors. Its like an urban swamp inside most the time. Ato usually is up to 4 gallons a day....lol .. so $50 for a probe and use the dehumidifiers i already own , it will save money in the long term on my power bills. I would like to use the ra to make use of fans, and set both dehumidifers to turn on/off based on humidity levels... The central midwest gets a bit humid in the summers...The air is dry in the winters, still run the dehumidifier to keep mold from getting established but not nearly as much.

Ok, update on this....
I received the sensor for testing and it seems to work just fine.
I'd love to be able to have this sensor use the same port as the temp sensors do, just because we can extend them better, but to do that, we would not have a factory digital calibrated sensor and it would mean no accurate measurements :(
They would be precise, but not accurate.
The other alternative is have them use the same expansion bus as all the other expansion modules do.
But that means a very short range that you would be able to extend this. Just a few feet.
Now, my question to those interested is... Are you trying to measure humidity in the room or somewhere specific that needs to be far away from the expansion hub?
If it is just room measurements, I think this sensor would work just fine.

Here is a graph of my humidity inside the canopy for the past few days.
It ranges from 50% to 60% depending on the time of day.

I'm going to place outside the canopy later to see what I get.

I am looking for a humidity probe for my angel as well. I am setting up a poison dart frog and wanted to control my mister with my reef angel. I will call it my frog angel if I do ;).. none the less has there been any more work on this and when or where can I buy it. I can put the sensor within two to three feet of my controller. Thanks

The modules I had are not 100% working. They stop working out of the blue and require the module to be unplugged and plugged back in.
I tried working it out with the supplier and wasn't successful.
That's why they are not sold anymore.
I still have them if you don't mind unplugging them every now and then.
I bough a new sensor from another supplier and I'm waiting for them to arrive.

Depending on how often that might not be so bad. I have an older reef angel is there anything else I would need to make it work. What port would it plug into

It plugs into the expansion port on the side of the relay box.

How often did you have to reset it. Was it random or pretty consistent. How much would it cost shipped and I'm not a great coder so I would probably need help on that.

It is random. I'd say once/twice a week.
The wizard still has the humidity expansion in the list.

Ok kool. What I want to do is to turn on an outlet when. The humidity isn't between 70 and 80% below 70 on and above 80 off. How much does this expansion going to cost even if it is still broke. I will deal with the bugs till a better one comes about
