pwm port form 10v to 5v, is there a way?

Hi, being new to reef angel and new to the forum, I will first introduce myself.
My name is Jean-Christophe and I'm a french young "reefer" (don't know if we say that).
Please do not blame me for my English mistakes, but you are welcome to show me what is wrong when I'm writing in English, I want to progress.
I'm a little bit disapointed with my meanwell driver because they can't dim between 0 an d 10% (eln-60-48P) and they are flashing when the are switched off.
Here we come with my request, in france we have a little company that makes reef lighting systems (great products for diy).
So I'm interested by a alpheus driver, the alpheus driver in only a driver, it don't transform the electricity you have to plug it with a transformer ( don't know if you understand me). The benefit of this drivers is that they have 4 independent channels and you can choose the constant current you want ( from 550 ma to 1200 ma) for each channel at the order, they can drive up to 32 cree xm-l at 1200ma.
Those drivers are dimmable by PWM with a very good precision (0,02%) but here is my problem, the voltage of the pwm is 5v (can handle 6v) and the reef angel i ordered works with 10v pwm, is there any way to make it work together? :?:
Thank you for reading me,
Jean-Christophe.

Yeah... That bugs me too :(
The LDD series of meanwell drivers seem to be the same as such Alpheus driver you mentioned. They use 0-5VDC PWM signals too.
What I've done in the past is send modified dimming expansion modules to those that require such signal.
A mod in the relay box would also work if you don't want to purchase the dimming expansion module.
Start here if you want to know more about the mod:

Thank you for your answer Roberto, you gave me all the informations I needed.
I'm a little bit afraid to modifying my reef angel, so i think I'll choose the simple solution by buying a modified dimming expansion (if it is possible), but not for now because I'm thinking for a future reef tank project, for my nano reef I'll let the meanweel driver do what it can do.

Hello Roberto

I'm from France too.

I have the RA since 1 year but not use them.
Now, i will finish my DIY LED with
- 38 XM-L
- 38 CREE XP-E Blue
- 36 CREE XT-E Royal Blue
i have 5 Mean Well ELN-60-48P and one Mean Well HLG-185-42B
but, i found the LDD driver and i want to install them on my feature DIY LED.

How can i do to send you my dimming module to modify the PMW 0-10V for 0-5V.
How much did it cost?
How much cost the delivery to France?

I have read that i can remove some resistor for that.
can you confirm me this?
If i remove the resistor and the other thing ( i forget the name) that's all that i need to modify?

Thank for your reply

Olivier

Yes, you can mod the dimming module to change it to 5V.
Can you open the enclosure and let me know which revision board you have?

Ok, you need to use a soldering iron and bridge the red marks.

Yop Rimai
that's all !!!?
If i solder the 6 red mark i can use the dimming module 0-5v for the XM-L and other Blue and Royal Blue?
crazy i do that and come back with the result
Thanks a lot
