Monitoring stuff.

Post by tkeracer619 »

I am gone a lot and I do not plug my return pumps into controllers.

Is there a way to put a flow switch on the pumps and have that relay info to the controller that the pump is indeed flowing water (not just powered on)?

Also what about water bugs? I would like to link some water sensors so i can tell that there is no water leaks.

You will need some type of flow meter that outputs pulses so RA can count revolutions per second/minute.

Oh man that is awesome!

That would be sweet. Especially if multiples could be monitored. I would love to have my reactors on something like that. You could figure out over time what the proper flow rates would be for your media reactors and what rates they flow as they start to clog up. A text telling me to change my carbon would be cool :D
