12 Volt splitter

Post by dedvalson »

This is a really minor item, but it would be useful I think.

Many of the RA Add Ons use a 12 V wall wart. If you were to take your Power Control Module case (with the 8 power supply connectors) and make a different PC board for it that just connected them all together than all of these add ons could run from one wall wart.

Better than using up a whole plug strip for wall warts or hacking and splicing.

That's why he made the power control module.. It is more fancy than what you want but preforms the same

Not really what OP is asking. For the PWM module and other modules that all use 12V but are not something you'd want to control individually like the power control module. So kinda like the power control module without the control :)

He wants a 12v power strip basically.

1 12v PS feeds and distributes 12v out to 6 or 8 outputs simultaneously.
That way you only have 1 wall wart or transformer your dealing with.

I understood what he was asking... But you can use the power control module to do what he wants.. You just tell the ports to always on.. It's just a more expensive option.
