ATmega2560

Post by taylorjonl »

I read in the FAQ that there were thoughts of making a version of the controller that is for the ATmega2560, has anyone started working on this?

The reason I ask is that I just bought one of these STK600 that comes with one of these ATmega2560.

I actually have plans to make a controller out of one of these AT32UC3. I figure I may as well make my circuits work with the ATmega2560 so that others can benefit from my work.

It'll be available, but there is no release date set just yet.
The processor is an ATMega2560.
If you look at the libraries code, there is already stuff in there about the ATMega2560 that may help you with your build.

Hmm, well if it is already in the works I won't worry about it. I was only thinking of it because there was mention in the FAQ about the ATmega2560 and I just so happen to be getting one and working on a similar project.

There are a handful boards spread around already.
The first batch was very small. I'm planning on making a new small batch again very soon.
