I have purchased the orp expansion hub months ago. have had it plugged into the expansion hub, but the probe not. still in the storage solution.

I two weeks ago took the probe and put it in the sump ( i read 2 week break in period )
today i tried calibrating it.

hooked up the little bnc dongle. hit okay registered 1786

had probe sitting in the 400mV solution ( changed the libraries to read 400 instead of 470mV )
it read mid to high 100's i believe

placed in a cup of rodi water, the parameters changed, put it back into the 400mV solution it read 400mV instantly.

rinsed with rodi water again and placed in sump.

it lowered to 350ish. then BOOM dropped to 50 then to 0.

that was weird. took it out. placed in rodi water. didn't change. placed in the calibration fluid, no change.

re calibrated it worked, left in the rodi water it held, then boom it dropped off as it did in the sump

what gives?

any ideas? do I have a crap probe?

noticed wifi wasn't working. changed the parameters in the globals.cpp

recalibrated again and now seems to work.

maybe loose connection or build up? I dunno

I dunno. I haven't done anything with it.

Just Noticed I didn't have any readings while I was at a friends house plumbing his system for ATO ( 10 sumps )

Looking at the graph, something happened friday at noon pacific time that made the ORP go to 400 and then back down to 300 over the next 20 minutes or so, when it then went to zero at around 12:40pm pacific time.

I think you will need to send it for analysis.
PM me for details.
