It would be great to see the RA having two or 3 options to choose when calibrating the orp probe.

From what I have research and experience it's not easy getting a orp 470 mv buffer solution and if do find it online
most shipping company wont accept it shipping in certain states area. It's due to the chemical content.

The best way to solve this issue permanently. I have discoverd is if the RA controller has pre program set in the system
2 options to choose from before calibrating. Example in the Orp calibration menu using the joystick choose specifically 90mv or 260mv.

Anyone now can easily avail the Orp buffer solution kit at HM Digital.

They sell ORP buffer solution as a 10 powder pillow mix with RO.
The advantage your orp buffer solution will always stay fresh and stay accurate
When calibrating. Also free from issue with shipping and storage life and many more.

Btw, 10 powder pillows can make a total quantity 1 liter.

Just google "HM Digital ORP Buffer Solution & Electrode Test Kit"
You will see what I'm talking about. I hope to see this in the future for RA.
I love to see this as an improvement to the product.

I actually started a thread asking a similar question and it is doable in code but I'm sure you knew that =)..

There is a company on ebay that I just got the recommended solution for $29 called zoro equipment fwiw.

I'm guessing the 470mv is so it's closer to what we're reading/testing for accuracy like a calibrating a refractometer.. That's just a guess though

I started the framework for adding the flexible orp functions, but needed someone to code the "screen" to use it.. I believe I sent a pull request for it to roberto...

That is great news, I hope Robert codes it soon.

Make sure keep the standard CAL to choose in the controller 90mv and 260mv.
I would like to high light the benefits using the powder form vs the liquids.

No comparison "Orp buffer solution kit at HM Digital" is the Best IMO.
Not to forget the kit comes with a container and cup to measure everything
you need. Perfect the hobbyist.
