Serial Connection

Trying to connect to the Wifi attachment in order to downgrade the firmware. Having trouble with the serial connection. I have tried both teraterm and Putty and multiple COM ports with no luck, settings are correct, the green light lights but no blue. The session appears to start, but then nothing happens , no start up screen, no where to get into cmd mode.

The Wifi works, but occasionally drops the connection

Any ideas?

What baud rate are you using?

After connecting are you entering
$$$

Then you will get a command prompt

Set it to 9600, all I get is blank screen, the manual says I should see some screen and then I would enter $$$ for cmd mode. I tried entering $$$ and got nothing

Yep thanks, I first tried to upgrade to the beta but said it couldn't find it, so I down graded to 232.

hopefully no more disconnects

Good Luck.. I tried 2.36 and had disconnects.. Started over with factory settings. Then went to 2.32. Then ended up with the Beta and I added an external antenna.
