Hi guys looking forward to getting the RA Plus in the next week. Just a few simple questions to make sure it will do what I am looking for out of the box.
1) Does it have a sunrise/sun set function or does this need to be programmed? The led light is controlled by two Mean Well ELN-60-48D one for whites and one for blues.
2) Does the phone have control over it or just status viewing?

The built in libraries has support for slope and parabola dimming depending on your preference. These can be used to simulate sunrise/sunset effects.
Slope = set ramp up/down time followed by a constant level for the remainder...
Parabola = curve up followed by curve down. So hit peak for only a short time.
There are also some supplemental libraries that you can use to get your rise/set times based on GPS coordinates.
You have a lot of options.
The ra is fully controllable from your phone/remote web browsers as well as long as you have the wifi module. Otherwise it is monitor only using a PC host to push out your data.
Awesome! Good with computers not so much coding but I do catch on quick. Was just hoping to have the sunrise sunset out of the box before I do a custom code for it. Also I was planning on the wifi module as I have a android phone and would love to be able to control things manually when not at home should the event ever need be. Thanks so much Lee!
You are in luck. Curt does some amazing stuff with the android client. You will enjoy it! The code is easy...and if you get something wrong just post it and we'll help out.
Which RA did you get?
The sunrise/sunset is implemented in the preloaded code and will be there out-of-the-box.
The wifi code is also implemented on the RA+ out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, you will need a custom code for the standard RA.

So everything I have heard seems to be true..top notch support on here. Nothing but good things about you Roberto. I haven't purchased it yet but was making sure out of the box the RA+ would do what I needed(sunrise/sunset & control over phone when not home) out of the box to get up and running. Going to get the RA+ and the wifi module tomorrow more then likely. I understand tomorrow is not a "normal" business day as far as shipping goes. So excited to get going on this thing. Glad to of picked the RA+ and be on board with everyone here.
