Ok, I got my hands on this pump today and was able to run it through the scope 
It's a 100% DC pump that uses 24VDC as power and 0-5VDC analog signal as control.
The pump itself has 3 wires. One for GND, One for 24VDC and one for control.
So, I could build a custom board so we don't even need to mess with opening the little control box provided by them and start cutting wires to interface it, assuming we can find that connector.

You can use the RA with analog signal to control the pump. Just make sure to use 0-50% to achieve the 0-5VDC output signal.
I hope this clarifies a lot of the doubts and confusion.

Thanks for clearing that up Roberto.
I wonder if we could get a PWM port to provide an analog signal with the addition of some caps and resistors. Time to Google.

Looks like a low pass filter would be able to do this. PWM --> Analog.

Heh, I just went and looked again at the photo posted of the controller on RC (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showp ... ostcount=7).
It looks like they are using a low pass filter to convert PWM to Analog for the VA line.

It was late yesterday and I didn't go deep into the board design.
I just wanted to scope and post my findings.
Indeed they are using low pass to smooth out the PWM.
This method works just fine. That's what I use for the conversion too, but in my experience in the past, I had always to buffer the signal with an op amp because the LED drivers or Tunze pumps need more juice than the low pass could provide.
With that said, I guess this pump doesn't need as much

Have at it, Roberto! Feel free to do what ever you want to it. Ideally I would like to be able to sell it off when you're done but if something happens to it oh well. I forgot to tell you yesterday but I was not able to find the light sensor that was supposed to be in the box with the pump. Hopefully you don't need that for anything.

For the Arduino, an R value = 3.9K and a C value = 0.1uF works well for most applications

The values used on the jebao controller was 1k and 2.2uF
I felt this wasn't good enough values. I was getting a lot of ripple when I scoped.
So, my custom harness has 10k and 10uF. I also used another 10k as voltage divider.
So, the 0-10V would be cut down in half and give a 0-5V to the pump.
This way, we can use 0 to 100% on the dimming channels.
Well, technically the pump has a cut off. I didn't measure it, but it is about 15% to 20%, so the usable range is 15 to 100%.
I'll look for a source of those 3pin connectors and we should have the hardness at the webstore soon

Ok so if I am understanding this right. I buy the jebo wp40. Throw their controller away. Mod the harness(or buy one when available). Ra will take control.
