Mounting Bracket

Any ideas for mounting brackets for the controller? I know there was a discussion on the mailing list last summer but I didn't know if anything further has been done.

I'm not sure what others do, but I'd love to have a supplier of mounting brackets.

hey roberto, just a gee whiz, how hard would it be to have all the brains of the ra inside a separate housing and the display by itself with one cable connecting it to the brain box? this way all the wires for temp, pwm, ph, etc can mount to a non moveable location and the display could be easier to mount somewhere remotely??

Not to hard, but I don't know how far you would be able to strech the signals from the main board. Never tested it.
But, I don't think this will ever be tested or tried, considering the fact that a new display module is being prototyped.

sorry, I didn't see this sooner. It's made of black abs plastic. I bought a sheet from a plastic shop and used a heat gun, then molded it around my RA.

It took some time to get this holder. Then I went for a short vacation... Anyway, I'm ready to share some pictures.

There are two raised parts at the bottom of the holder that prevent controller from mounting flat (circled with red).

Mounting to the door using double sided tape.

I should say that it's not the best mount I could imagine, but it does the trick.
You have to remove bumps for better fit. I also removed one padding on each side of the mount.

But it is not half bad for $5 delivered.

You can try to use suction mount, but I did not see any good from it in my application. The only way I can think of is to mount it to the side of tank or sump, but I want to keep controller as far from water as possible.
