lights on mode?

Post by pandimus »

Ok. so my LED's are pwm, but i have a standard timer that turns my light power supplys on and off when ever the lights are scheduled to turn on and off. Kinda a pain, if i want to show off tank during lights off times, i have to turn on lights then go to other side of tank and turn the timer to manual mode. Can i put the power supplys on a relay port and set it for lights on mode. Whenever the pwm lights turn on will it also turn that port on weather it be scheduled or non scheduled?

I leave my drivers plugged in all the time. I dim them to 0 to shut them off overnight. You can set brightness from the RA's "PWM Lights" menu and whenever you go into "lights on mode", they'll light up to the values you set in the menu.

I see. You can do this with the Reef Angel Wizard. Set up the outlet as "Time Schedule" and check the box that says "Turn on this port on "Lights On" Mode. Then set the values in the PWM Lights menu on the head unit. Whenever you go into "Lights On" mode it will turn on that outlet and set the dimmers to those values.

Thanks.I kinda knew to do that, just wasn't sure the pwm would also turn on lights on mode.
