I'm loving the Reef Angel way more than the Apex already. Built in ATO is a nice touch, and I can get rid of my Avast top off.
If you have the avast pressure switch, you can wire that to one of the ato ports and still have a pressure switch in lieu of a float. Can then use the float for backup. And you could still use both floats...
I have my two float switches wired in parallel doing different things connected to one ato port. The higher one watches my sump for an overflow (and doubles as a salt water ato during water changes) and the lower one alarms if my sump is running too low and my pump may cavitate soon.
