having trouble understanding
im new to the RA system and have little to no idea on the coding. is there a forum or something that breaks down how the coding works? i see all kinds of different codes that sould cool to have but i really have no idea how to use them or what parts to use. all i see in the codes is a bunch of symbols numbers mixed in with words.

Re: having trouble understanding
It can be overwhelming.
It's all based on the Arduino platform. Here's a link that may help a little. You won't be able to run this stuff on your RA, but it's a good starting point for programming (and it's free).

Radio Shack also sells some books and kits. Once you understand the basics, then the rest is just add-on.
Also feel free to ask specific questions about things you don't understand.

I'll throw together a little tutorial, too. Give me a few minutes.

Re: having trouble understanding
I split the thread and put the tutorial into another thread
It was too good to be buried
