Long Wifi Cable

Is there any way to order a long WiFi cable, maybe 10' or so

RA unit is in the basement near the sump and would like to move the WiFi unit back up near the tank on the first floor to help with signal loss.

I would think that longer cable may affect the communication.
Some people have done external antenna mods.
You could also get a wifi repeater.

If it's serial it should be able to go over a long distance, but yeah the external antenna mod may be of good use.
