A cable in one of my Temp probe connectors came off. I dont know how because I havent touch anything in my controller for a long time, maybe it was someone else in the house. How difficult is to repair it? to get the cable back in?
Thanks'

Re: Temp Probe connector
Can you post a pic? Is the crimp-on pin still on the end of the wire or do you just have bare copper on the end?

I'll try to take a pic. It is the bare wire, the pin stayed in the plastic housing

Re: Temp Probe connector
It's easy to repair if you already have the crimp tool and spare pins. If you don't have the tool it'd be cheaper to order a new probe. I think the cheapest crimp tool I've found was around $15 and a new probe will run you $5-$10.
You could also try to pulling the pin out of the housing (use a straightened out paper clip or toothpick to help get it out) and solder the wire on.

Thanks Piper, Roberto suggested the same. I will try to get it out and solder it.
