Pwm help

Post by dls10 »

Got the nano cube 24 retrofit kit from rapid led and am trying to get them to work with the reef angel standard relay box dimmers. The lights all work when I hook the blue and white dimmer wires to a 9v battery so I know they are all ok. The lights do not work when I hook them to the reef angel dimmer no matter what dimming percentage I have them at. Seems there is not enough juice running to the dimmer wires when hooked up to the dimmer ports.

I am using the meanwell eln-60-48p drivers and just the preloaded reef angel code.

Can you measure voltage on the dimming ports?
What is the ap and dp showing on the screen?

They both read .03. I have the multimeter on the 10A setting.

No, not current... It needs to be voltage.
Set to current measurements can damage the port because it is just like shorting out the + and -.
What is the % shown on the screen?

Found out how to measure the voltage and it reads 9.66 on the daylight and 9.58 on the actinic. Both are at 100 percent.

That seems to be correct.
Are you sure you are connecting the wires correctly?
Please check the manual for polarity of the dimming ports.
