RF Expansion

Can someone describe the speed control changes on the Vortech pump when controlled by the RF Expansion?

Whenever I change the mode on the RF Expansion, I can see that the Mp-10 follows that. I am not sure with the speed changes. I understand that when MP-10 sync's with the RF Expansion it would cancel the manual control knob and pass the control to the RF Expansion. In my case, RF Expansion only controls the mode and I have to use the manual control for the maximum speed limit. So I am not able to turn it down to minimum at night, I need to do it manually.

Anyone else is experiencing that?
