Waveline DC6000 pumps

Post by yeohungs »

Hi,

I have 2 Waveline DC6000 pumps.

How do I hook them up to reef angel plus?

What cables and where to connect to?

Thanks!

You need the Jaebo cables. They replace the connection from the pump to the stock controller.

From what I remember Roberto said the the DC return pumps don't work very well on the controller.
They don't respond fast enough to be used as a wave maker or something like that.

Otherwise you can use it to slow the pump down during feeding or at night, but you can't get really crazy when being used as a return pump.

When they first came out Roberto had one working with a WL sensor in his overflow to control the speed of the pump so there was no an excess of water sloshing into the overflow and making it so noisy.

I believe he removed that setup from his tank because he had pumps die.

I think the Waveline DC4000, DC6000, DC10000, DC12000 doesn't work with the RA Jebao cable.

The last i hook it work it didn't work, check with Roberto and he mention that it doesn't work with Waveline new gen controller.
