wifi device stopped working

My Wifi device abruptly stopped working and all I get is a faint blue flashing light. Tried to connect it to the computer and the computer won"t recognize it. all i get is an error telling me to disconnect and reconnect any ideas

also tried resetting it to factory settings but that would not work either. I think it is toast. What could have happened to it?

That does not sound normal behavior.
Is it a new unit?

yes it is, and i did the external antenna mod to it when i first got it. I believe i got it in January or february

When I meant new, I wanted to know if it was within a few weeks.
I think you will need to send it back.
