Re: error uploading to new board.
I've tried 5 and 1, reset computer, tried scanning the usb port. Nada. I am using the modified usb cable for power, shouldn't be a problem though worked fine on old angel..

Re: error uploading to new board.
The screen may be because it is an old screen and needs a setting in the internal memory to be changed.
Does any of your relay ports turn on?

Did you go from a RA to a RA+? Did you select the RA+ for board type in the menu?

Definitely in plus mode. I hooked it up and got no power on any relays. The jumpers that were on the board on upper left I removed those because I thought that's how other board was setup, but noticed today three jumpers lower right on old board. Could this be in?

Re: error uploading to new board.
You need to have the 3 jumpers in place near the lower middle of the board. Just from from the LCD if I remember correctly.

I couldn't remember the jumpers I removed/changed when I added my dimming module

Well it's uploading now that I put the three jumpers on, still no screen and no relay activities I'll investigate a little more this weekend

Is it an old screen?
I think you need this in your setup() right above ReefAngel.Init();

Code: Select all
InternalMemory.LCDID_write(255);

Re: error uploading to new board.
It is the same screen that I got with the used reef angel standard I got a few years ago, so I guess it's safe to say yes.. I'll give that a try.rimai wrote:Is it an old screen?
