Used reef angel

Post by sepulvd »

I just received a used reef angel but I can't figure out why every couple mins the relays are clicking on and off and why the status lights blinks red a bunch of time and the unit resets itself. Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnect everything except the relay and see if that resolves the issue.
If it does connect the modules and probes 1 at a time until you determine which one is causing the problem.

Do you have a USB power cable?
Try powering just the head unit.
If it doesn't work, look for signs of water damage.

I think it's the cable from the head unit to the labtop only time it resets it self

When you plug in the USB cable from the computer, make sure the black wire is all the way to the right (facing the head unit). You'll have an extra empty pin on the far left.
