Z-wave intergration

Post by westonhull »

Hello,
I was wondering if there was any thoughts of being able to talk to any zwave controller (vera, Smart things, GE, etc)? Most controllers are able to communicate with RS232, usb, wifi, rf, x10, etc. With this option you would might be able to integrate the automation and wireless side.

Thanks,
Wes

You can connect through RS232, but that would use the port that you use for the wifi attachment.
Doe the zwave controller also communicate through xbee?

Not without a traffic control signal to indicate where to send the signal to.
