How Dim does 0% or 20% supposed to go... ?

Post by sceia »

Ok, here's the completed setup... PWM expansion with 6 channels (3 natural whites, 1 green, violet, blue). Royal blue and red are on the pwm on the base controller. I'm running inventronics drivers (EUC-75SxxxDT and EUC-040SxxxDS). I have the analogue cables on the ones going to the controller, and straight wired in for the ones that go to the pwm expander. I've been trying to get them to dim (which they do, but not much). At 0, I get a good bit of light. I tried 50%, 30%, 20%, 15%... All dim a little, but not to the flicker and not enough to not light the tank. I have my code pasted on another thread, which I thought would work great, but *sigh* it doesn't. Any clues I'm missing?

I've never used inventronics, but I've heard of others using it.
On the meanwells, 0% has no visible light on the LEDs.

Interesting.... Do you think I need to use the pwm to analogue on the pwm expansion?

Is the red and royal blue working all right?

I can get the red to dim to flicker....but I think it's backwards... I have to use 100% in the memory for red to get it to Dim. I'm still testing the actinics (RB)...I can't get them to dim with different values yet...
