Quick replies

Post by alexwbush »

Roberto,
Not sure how hard it is, but can quick replies be implemented?

Reef Central and other forums have this. You can reply without going to a new screen... that way you can avoid going back and forth if you're replying to someone's post

I think another thing that might help is if links in posts opened in a new window. That way you could click to look at something someone is linking too and still post. I know you could always right click and open in new window.

Clicking a link with your scroll wheel, in most browsers will automatically open the link in a new tab for you also.

I almost always click links with my scroll wheel so I can keep my spot on the web page. Then I can read the rest of the page and get to the link when I'm ready to get to it.
