so I did this and for an hour no issues. 2 minutes after I plugged the wifi back in I get the steady flashing red LED.

do you still want me to send the expansion hub? is there anything else I can look at?
the hub is brand new, you sent it to me at most a week ago.

Well, I tested the wifi for a week without issues.
After the power outage issue that you had, I recall we replaced a few modules.
Did we replace the relay box and head unit too?

only things that weren't replaced was the screen and the relay box and wifi.

Can you measure if you are getting 5V on the two outer pins of the temp probe?

I wasn't quite sure how to do this. I left the probes plugged into the head unit. Put a piece of wire in the white part of the plug for the outer pins and connected the multimeter to that set at 20V with straight line and got 4.86 for each probe. I took each probe out of the head unit and couldn't get any numbers that way, which I imagine is correct or I did something wrong.

Yes, that is correct and the voltage looks normal.
Are you sure you did not bump into that usb cable connected to the USB expansion while plugging the wifi attachment?
According to the video, it really does loose power when you move it around.
If the USB expansion looses power, it will lock the expansion bus and cause that led blink.
Can you use any of the other USB cables from the other modules and replace the one connected to the hub?
I know you tried one other already, but try using maybe another one or even a computer USB cable you may have spare laying around.
If nothing works, let's try another hub.

It would really help if the connections were tighter i need to make something to hold them together better because i lose connection with my RF module a lot.

I tried a third usb cable and it doesn't turn the power off when you jiggle the wire. however, it still blinks red led after ~2-3 minutes.

I think you will need to send me whatever you have connected right now, so I can analyze where it's hanging up.

I having been having trouble with my wifi module for the past month or so. I would have to unplug it and plug back into get it to work. This am I woke up and it nothing I do will make it work again. And yes I have scanned my network to make sure it hasn't changed IP address. I tried unplugging the module, unplugging the whole controller from the wall, and I rebooted my network nothing works. I think the module finally went bad. Any help appreciated.
