i think i spent about 1-2 years before I hooked it up to my tank. in fact, i got a second controller/setup to use on my tank and the original controller is used for testing.
not that I didn't want to use it on my tank but I kept programming and updating the libraries

I actually have my DIY controller that i modeled after the RA it cost 3 times as much in the end and only does about 1/2 of what the RA does but i had so much fun building it.. Actually my Son owns a reef supply shop and has a number of the RA's in the shop. and it has been my goal to get them all on a wired or wireless network so that all the tanks can be monitored from one location.. be it BT or ethernet Just trying to stay away from wifi.
