What determines which temp port is assigned on the controller? If I only use one probe it defaults to T1 regardless of where I plug it in on the controller. If I use two probes it picks one as T1 and the second as T2. I wanted T1 to be the sump temp and no matter what location I plug it in on the controller, it assigns the sump as T2.

All probes have a unique serial id that is laser incribed into the chip when it is being manufactured.
RA reads this id and assigns T1, T2 and T3 in ascending order. So, you can't really change T1 to display on T2 and vice versa. You can simply move the physical probe though.
