Re: error uploading
Do you have any other port available?
Which RA do you have?
You have to make sure to select the correct one on Tools->Boards.
Reef Angel w/ optiboot for the standard RA and Reef Angel Plus for RA+

Re: error uploading
Can you double check one setting?
Control Panel->System->Device Manager->Ports(COM & LPT)
Double-click "USB Serial Port (COM3)"
Go to "Port Settings" tab
Click "Advanced" button
Make sure that "Set RTS on Close" is checked.
This is usually taken care by the RA installer, but by the way you mentioned COM0 was initially selected, indicates that this may not have been correctly set by the RA installer.

Re: error uploading
I already checked that. I'm good there. Could it be that I have to generate the settings in RAGen before I upload the code in Aduino. If that is the case it was not very clear in the Tutorials or maybe I'm just an idiot. (the later is probably the case). Should I just Unistall and reinstall then generate in RAGen then upload in Aduino. Thanks

Re: error uploading
You don't need RAGen to upload code.
Does your controller reboot when the message "Rebooting Reef Angel Controller" shows on the screen?

Re: error uploading
When you click upload, there is a log of what is happening at the bottom in red.
Can you copy and paste here?

Okay, how do I do that? I can copy and paste the program but I cannot copy the bottom part. I can tell you the last couple of lines.

You see where it says rebooting Reef Angel Controller.

Yes, it should reboot the controller when that message shows up. Does it do it?

Re: error uploading
Just wanted to post that Roberto tried to help me out remotely (freakin cool!!). But the problem ended up being the USB cable. He sent me a new one, received it in about two days, and now I'm up and running like a champ. VERY impressed so far!!!!!!!

Re: error uploading
Ok, you are good in there.
Can you check if you have multiple serial ports?
menu Tools->Serial Ports
If you have more than one, try the other ones.
