Probe Extension cable

Roberto,
I was getting a reading of 185 degrees on one of my probes. I removed the probe extension cable and plugged the probe directly into the head unit and it reads fine. I tried the extension cable on another probe and same result. I looked at the cable and it only plugs in one way on both the probe and the head unit. The problem is the cable reverses the outside wires as they plug into the head unit. In other words the probe wires are black-red-white when plugged into the head unit. Using the extension cable they are white-red-black. Looks like it got assembled wrong.
