PH probe not working any longer

My pH probe has been working fine since i got my RA but all of the sudden the pH readings just stuck at 1.42 and never move.

I have reloaded my InitialInternalMemory code and then tried the probe again after a few reboots of the RA but to no avail. Any ideas?? It reads 1.42 and NEVER changes from that number

Try these:
Unplug USB cable.
Disconnect the float switches from the head unit.

Did anyone of the above make a difference on the reading?

I tried your suggestions above and they didnt effect the reading at all from the pH probe. I have also tried unplugging everything from the RA unit except the pH probe and then rebooted it, no changes to the readings.

Does your probe look ok?
Check the glass bulb at the tip.

Yea everything looks fine, i have rinsed it off and checked for debris all looks good. It has been sitting in the same spot in the sump since i bought it. My whole setup is only about 3-4 weeks old so im stumped, it was working fine and all of the sudden one day i woke up and it wasn't reading correctly anymore.

Here is an image of it

Did you ever find a solution for this? I have the exact same issue. I've also tried all of the above, reading is stuck at 1.42 and the calibration reads 0. My RA is about 30 days old. Maybe a bad probe? Thanks for the help.

I had a bad probe (2 mo old) Roberto sent me a new one but the new style's cable is wayyyy too short :(

Thanks for the reply. I figured the probe was bad.

Yes, the probe was bad. The new probe i got was the newer style, green, and it works perfectly. I agree the cable is a little too short compared to the other one. I did a test on my water as well for stray voltage and i had .2v reading from my water. I put in a tank ground probe and immediately read as 0v, maybe this could have burned out a probe?

The new probe corrected all the graphed pH swings. It's as stable as it should be because I know my pH is tight. New probe instantly corrected issues I had immediately with that old probe style.
