Did you try any of the other options?
The easiest is to use the wifi utility.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same wifi utility, you are using the same one shown in this thread, right??

You can check on it via wifi or using your phones provider. You want to check and see what DDNS service your router works with. Like no-ip.com,dyndns.

Do you mean the connection type?

Nope DDNS is a dynamic IP address server.
So no matter what IP address your service provider assigns you -- you will just be able to go to link and it will take you to your reefangel.
This is if you want to use your reefangel outside of your home wifi network.

Remove the plastic bottle in the tip of the ph probe.
Connect it in the controller.
Place it in your sump.
If you find the readings are not correct, you will need to calibrate.
You can find info on calibration inside the manual, but pretty easy. Push the joystick and go to ph calibration.
You will need ph7 and ph10 calibration solutions.
Place it in ph7 and wait and push ok button.
Repeat for ph10.
That's it.

Your LFS should have it.
To change settings of your dimming channels, or any other setting for that matter, using the smart phone app, you will need to choose internal memory path when generating code with the wizard.
