Ok I'm trying to change the wave maker outlets to always on and I keep getting error after uploading

I've tried changing the USB on my comp, I've changed serial port com, I've tried different types of controller plus, standard, optiboot, I'm not writing my own code just using the wizard to change the outlet to always on. I verified the code and it completes. It reboots the controller after uploading but I get the error message. I just recently got the RA so it's new. I verified the serial monitor is 57600 both NL & CR when I type in "GET /r99" nothing comes up on the screen? What am I doing wrong?

Let's start with the controller.
Which one do you have?
Were you able to upload any code yet?

To be honest I'm not 100% sure it sat in the box for 6 months before the tank got up. Not yet I haven't. I believe it's the basic, no xtra memory, no wifi.

Ok I deleted the RA program in my computer to start over. I can't even do the initial internal memory upload without getting errors.

And I can't respond to PM's for some reason.

You still have not been able to upload to the controller? You should be able to respond to PMs now. If not it might take another post or two then you can.

You should be able to PM now.
But if you got the standard RA, you must use the Reef Angel w/ optiboot choice of board.
Does the red status led light turn on when the heater is shut off?
Are you sure it's plugged into the heater port? Can you send us a photo?

Yes it's plugged into heater port and no I do not get a red light. When I upload the RA reboots and everything. I am using optiboot as I did buy the RA controller with analog dimming signal 239$
Ill post a picture tonight of the controller screen it shows the heater outlet red. Right now it's on

Heater is the bottom corner. My heater also has an external controller but its set at 90 degrees so it won't shut off.

Nvmnd I just realized the issue. According to manufacture of the heater if heater is on longer than 6 hrs at one time it auto shuts off. Stupid heater ill be replacing it. Now back to the error issue.
