Re: Cant upload with USB power cable
Can you post the error code?
Do you have any other serial port listed on menu Tools->Serial Port?

"Serial port 'COM 3' not found" in orange at the bottom of the window.
Is that what you need? I cant select serial port in the tools menu, its greyed out. This happened to me once before but I just used the ttl cable and upload was successful.

Re: Cant upload with USB power cable
If it is grayed out, it means the computer didn't find the cable.
Make sure you plug in the USB-TTL cable and check if the drivers are installed correctly too.

You are using the USB power cable AND the TTL cable, correct?

Re: Cant upload with USB power cable
I know this is an old thread, but there's nothing in the documentation (downloaded V2.1.5) to show where/how to plug in the USB power cable. It LOOKS like the only place is say the temperature probe, but would prefer not to let magic smoke out
It's tiring moving the relay box over to the PC every time I program ...
I would suggest modifying the owners manual.
