Hi,

is there going to be a time in the future, where you are going to add EU/UK plug fittings so we don't have top use the adapter.

Yes, but I'm yet to find one socket that is snap fit to the enclosure. All of the ones I've seen so far needs wire leads.
I do have an AUS prototype relay box made, but wanted to release EU sockets at the same time.
So, the answer is yes, but when I find the correct socket.

They snap into the quick connect tabs on the relay board and also snap into the enclosure wall.

Hi,
Could I have a link to the Australian replacement snap in connectors as I'm considering buying a Reef Angel and would like to convert it?

Thanks
But I was referring to a part that would replace the Digikey snap in part that you linked to above

So far I could only find a 45mm x 45mm one not 27mm x 27mm

Any progress in this area? I'm also really interested in a version with EU outlets. Would it be possible to use universal plugs instead? Perhaps something like this? elcom-international. com/elcomv1.0/p/660/46/Universal-Sockets--Adaptors/EMO-71.htm

(I'm not allowed to post links so there is a space between elcom-international. and com)

I can also source that type of sockets, but the problem is that is is much harder for me to mount them as the male faston tabs are on the sockets instead of the female.
I have found a AUS but not the universal with female faston.

Ok, thats to bad. I guess it's the same problem with these: internationalconfig.com/icc6.asp?item=74900x45-W ?

What other options are there (the additional adapter plugs is not really an option)? Would it be possible to order a modified relay box from you and let us mount the sockets ourselfs? Kind of like IKEA :)

Hum. This one may be an option.
I'll contact the manufacturer for a better datasheet.

Any news? In case it works out they also have plugs specifically for EU, UK and US if that is of any interest.
US: internationalconfig.com/icc6.asp?item=76143X45
UK: internationalconfig.com/icc6.asp?item=72100x45
EU: internationalconfig.com/icc6.asp?item=70100X45

I'm keeping my fingers crossed here! :)

I called them and got their datasheet, but unfortunately the sockets are screw terminal type and can't be used for production :(

Crap! :(

Ok, I'm just going to throw in one more for now that I found. It's from the same site but looks a bit different and is used in their power strip (internationalconfig. com/icc6.asp?item=58206) so it might hopefully be better.

Sorry, I just called them this time to ask them and they do not carry anything that could be used for production type.
All their stuff is mainly geared towards wall outlets.
