Reef Angel Forum

I just hooked up the Reef Angel ATO Pump I got and when it turns on it makes a very loud whirring noise.
Is this normal for this unit?

I've never hear a dosing pump or pump make a noise like this.
PS I know it's not a dosing pump.

That's sucks though.
I liked the fact that they didn't siphon out the ATO reserve, but I don't know if I can deal with that noise.
