Wont Power on, just Flashes

Little bit of an emergency (As are all tank things)

I came down to go to work in the morning and my tank lights were still on, and they are set to come on at 1pm. I unplugged the reefangel thinking it was just hung up, plugged it back in and nothing happened except the status light flashing quickly.

IF i plug it into my computer, it does not pick up the additional serial port.

Any help would be much appreciated, i have opened the unit up and have not found any obvious corrosion or shorts.

Also the main unit says it is Reef Angel Main Unit 6.1. It has worked flawlessly for 6 months up until this point.

Do you mean the serial port does not even show up on your computer?

Yes, it doesn't seem to pop up with COM5 like it usually would.

Can you plug in the cable and go to "Control Panel->System->Device Manager" and expand the "COM & LPT Ports" and post a screenshot?

No little exclamation marks, the only thing was the bluetooth device thing, probably my phone.

Could any of the jumpers on the board be useful?

Thanks!

Good news, i happened to device manager up when i was plugging in and out the reef angel, and i noticed that com 3 was dissappearing... I did that after scraping every trace of salt i could find on the board off.

I was able to upload a new image, and everything seems to be working fine!

Led lights are acting bizarre, when both are plugged in i lose the whites, so must still be some salt in there somewhere screwing with the PWM.

thanks, looks like nothing died, so i am very happy.
