Jebao Extension Cable

Post by cjrudy »

With my relay box in the basement near my sump and the WP40 controller on the display tank, any ideas on how to get it connected. The cable off the WP40 is only 160cm (about 5ft). That will never reach to connect to the relay box with the Jebao cable.

Someone must be having the same issue. Any ideas ?

Ah, ok, so the only thing I would run into the basement would be the dimming cable, good idea.

Do you have anything thing that would work or would I need to find some cable ?

Any cable works...
You can use CAT5 which is readily available.

I wouldn't re-wire the end connector, but splice in a piece of cable the length that you need.

+1 either solder and heat shrink the splices. Or use gel connectors like a phone line

Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion Roberto. I ran cat6 cable from the controller in the basement up to the first floor and spliced in the Jebao harness for my two pumps, one wp25 and one wp40

Everything's coded and working great.
