RF expansion?
Does anybody use this with their Ecotechs? Is it worth the money or just a luxury?

THx. I think I have to get the RF. I have the Radions too.
How easy is it to control the Vortechs with Reef Angel? Do you actually change the pumps mode regularly?

Hehehe your asking the wrong guy that question..

Aside from the standard feeding and night mode one would do on a daily basis...

I have my code running the vortech's in custom mode where they are following a monthly tidal simulation and the flow changes direction based on tidal ebb/flow.

I also change my mode on a daily basis and apply my tidal program to that mode. So, essentially my reefangel is changing the speed/mode constantly, except after feeding mode when i run Smart_NTM to clean up whatevers left over.

Also, Is that 8 plug outlet a surge protector too or just an outlet?

No idea if it has surge protection. There is a resettable fuse on it though...
