Temp Probe 2

I want to add a second temp probe and measure the temp inside my cabinet to measure the temp of my LED power supplies and drivers. Do I just connect it next to the first probe? Do I need to change the code any?

The thing to worry about is the order of the probes does not matter. The assignment of T1/T2/T3 is determined by the serial number of the probe. So the new one you plug in may become T1... you can test by moving it in water / out of water. Also, you need to reboot the controller whenever you plug/unplug a temp probe.

Say it goes to T1. Is there anyway to change the assignment via the code? Is there a way to assign what happens based on T1 vs what happens for T2? Ie. water is too hot turn off heater for original probe. new probe-cabinet hot turn on fan.

Yes you can change which probe is for the overheat but if you want to use the StandardHeater function with probe T2 you will need to code a custom function. IF you search for StandardHeater2 you should be able to find someone who has done this already.
What I did was once I knew which probe was which I re-ran the cables to my preference. You may not have an issue at all, but I wanted to give the warning to prevent the inevitable plugging / unplugging the probes and going nuts
