Jebao on controller with battery backup

Hi folks,

I just started to use my reef angel and I am loving it this far. I have 2 WP40 pumps on my RA+ and I'm wondering if it is possible to attach a backup battery for power outages for at least one of the powerheads?

Thanks!

Thanks Steve. I look through most of your links. My question is, if you use the RA+ as the controller in place of the stock controller, how would the pump on the battery backup work if the RA+ will not be powered on in a power outage situation. Maybe I'm not understanding it because I haven't had a chance to test it, but it seems like this might be a problem. Thanks!

The RA would need to be on a battery backup as well.
Something small like for a computer.
If you didn't want everything running like your pumps and lights then you would need to code it like lnevo has done in his code to detect a power outage and disable certain things.

He has a thread under the My PDE/INO file section.
Here is the link.

He keeps his code updated in the 2nd post.
