Actinic channel for a fan...

Post by ritorres »

Hello Everybody:

I bought Reef angel plus in september, and i am really happy. I have a doubt, Can use actinic channel from analog relay to controll a 12v DC fan, just for turn on and turn off (not dimming)?

thanks, and excuse my english is not my first language.

Only very very small fans.
The dimming channel can only handle 40mA.

Best is to just use a relay to power the fan. The pwm is good for dimming / speed control not to provide power to a motor.
