Im trying to add a wavemaker system using a jebao wp40 and dc6000 that I will be getting soon.
I have a analog reefangel plus with the basic equipment. Currently I have my leds using the relay dimming ports and several lunar lights connected to the controller ports via moonlight expansion module.
Im curious if I will need any special cables or modules/relays ?
I would like to add a new relay soon to better control all my current lights /skimmer and such anyways.

What will I need to buy to control these pumps ?
Re: What will I need to buy to control these pumps ?
You are going to want to adjust the speed of the pumps, not just turn them on and off.
To just alternate turning them on and off you don't need anything except 2 open outlets on your relay box.
To control the speed you will definitely need 2 Jebao cables to control those pumps.
The pumps can be controlled by the ATO ports as well if you are not using them (you will need to let Roberto know so he can put the proper end on the Jebao cables) other than that you will need a Dimming Expansion Module (Analog or PWM will work for the Jebao pumps and the RA and mix and match Analog and PWM).
Do you have an Expansion Hub yet? From what I'm picturing that you have you probably don't have one, so you would need that too if you go with the Dimming Expansion Module.

I dont have a expansion hub yet. So I could get another relay ans use those dimming channel to control the pumos then ?
Is there any benefits for analog vs PWM dimming if the pumps are controlled by either ?

The dimming channels on the expansion relay do not work.
It seems your thought pattern is much like mine, because I thought the same thing and was told that they don't work the only thing that works on the Expansion relay is the ports.
As far as PWM or Analog with the Jebao it does not make a difference, it was just a matter of what you are going to use the other ports for.
I say was because Roberto has just created a new version of the dimming module that has dip switches in it for you to choose analog or PWM and even 0-10v or 0-5v for each of the 6 channels.
Even though the store still has the 2 individual versions I think he has the new ones in stock because I asked him about it last week and he said they were out already.

Hmm maybe mine may be one . Its only a month old really. Not sure. Well tell me this ,whats the trend in reef aquarium as fa4 as equipment controls pwm or analog.

Sorry I meant my controller.

That's what I thought you were talking about, the controller has not changed. It was the Dimming Expansion Module that he revised and made each port changeable between analog and PWM or 0-10v and 0-5v.
