Remotely Changing Custom Internal Memory Values?

Post by jgsplat »

Is there a way to remotely change my internal memory values? I do it when I'm home using the wonderful Android App but I haven't got it to work while I'm away yet? Is there a way to change it from the portal? Thank's in advance!

In the android app you need to setup your away profile with your external ip address, and port (2000) than change profile to away instead of home. If you have a dynamic IP your ip address may frequently change if this is the case a google search will give you lots of options for dealing with that.

You can also set some internal values through the Portal, but the Android app has many more options.

You can also do it from any web browser.

http://ip.address.com/mbXXX,YYY

Where xxx= memory location
And yyy= data

You can change mb to mi for ints instead of bytes and you can leave off the ,yyy to query that memory location

Just as a follow up question. How Dos the Custom Varibles tab work on the app. Can I assign them to a memory location?
