DC Pump channel?

I feel like the answer is trying to slap me in the face, but for some reason I can't find it in the manual or see the option in the RA software.

How do I let the controller know which dimming port I have attached my Jebao DC Pump to? The wizard asks if I have a DC pump, and I said yes, set it to 25%, but didn't see where to let the controller know which port I have attached it to. it's connected to a dimming port on the relay box, not an ATO port on the controller.

Thanks for the help!

Right there on the same page that asks you to enter the mode, speed and duration, it has the option to set the channels to Sync, Anti-Sync or Not used.

Thanks Roberto,

This is a sump pump, not a powerhead, should have mentioned it. I got it working by enabling the sync setting as you stated. However, so speed settings that seem to work are 100% and 50%. I tried 20, 25, 30, and 40% but none of them worked. Am I trying to fit a square peg in a round hole?

I want the pump to shut off during feeding cycles. I guess this is something the wizard doesn't do?

It should work. I use a DC Pump as return pump too and I have very fine control.
Check my video here:

It's been controlling my overflow/drain rate for more than a year now!! I love having no bubbles in the sump :)
The only problem I have is that less than 50%, the pump doesn't have enough power to overcome my 3 feet head and the pump just spins but no water gets to the display :(

I thought it did...
You can add these 2 lines to setup():

Code: Select all

  ReefAngel.DCPump.FeedingSpeed=0;
  ReefAngel.DCPump.WaterChangeSpeed=0;

I had my pump at about 30% using the Jebao Controller, so the head shouldn't be a problem, but I will check, it could be that it was running and I just didn't hear it, it's pretty quiet. I'll play some more tonight.

Thank you!

Ted

You were tight, it does shut PFF the pump, I just didn't remember se5ting the option. Maybe it is automatic with the wizard.
