so i noticet t had some stray current in my system and found my heaters wer leaking a cheap powerhead in my frag tank was leaking and my ph probe was leaking. i was just courious if the ph probe leaking was a result of the other stuff being messed up or if the probes will do that over time it is about 10 months old?

pH probes can serve as a return path for leaking voltage rather than leaking themselves.

Is the gel in the pH probe still clear? Usually bad ones turn cloudy.

The probes generally need to be replaced about every 12-18 months.

i dont have any current until i plug in the ph probe

im curently running a jebao dc 9000 return a reef octopus dcs 200 skimmer 2 wp40's a cfl fuge light a 175watt metal halide and 2 600watt heaters. with the heaters pluged in and ph probe not pluged in i get current but if i put the heaters on a different breaker there is no curent. with the heaters completely unpluged and the ph probe pluged in i get curent. i have unpluged everythin from the reef angel and had nothin with power on in the tank only the ph probe pluged in and i still have a little curent. im about to give up on this thing

Are you using float switches? Unplug them and see what happens. Otherwise, could be the pH probe.
