will this work for ethernet?

I know there are a number of topics on ethernet so I apologize if this has been covered. I am attaching a link. Will this work to get an RA connected to the portal if wifi is not an option?

No, you have to get the arduino ethernet board or one of the clones.

You would need to add the arduino board, because that is just the shield for an arduino board.
